PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remaining amount of fuel detecting device that can accurately detect the small remaining amount of fuel. SOLUTION: A float chamber 80 is set up in the bottom section of a fuel tank 1 and a float 10 provided with a magnet 21 is floated in the chamber 80. Fuel jetting outlets are provided in the upper and lower side faces of the float chamber 80 and filters 13 and 14 are provided on the outside of the jetting outlets. A magnetic sensor 20 is provided below the float chamber 80 so that the sensor 20 may be positioned on the outside of the bottom plate 2 of the fuel tank 1.
