CONSERVATION METHOD FOR JET PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conservation method for jet pumps by which increase of fabrication process is suppressed and lowering of damage potential of jet pump beams can be attained. SOLUTION: In conservation work, a retainer is removed so that jet pump beams 15 with thick ends 19 of the beam can be newly attached. By thickening the beam ends 19 for the withdrawal of the retainer, machining for providing a dent in the middle of the bottom of the jet pump beam 15 becomes unnecessary and generation of stress in the jet pump beam 15 can be reduced.
