PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve aesthetic appearance by making a door flush to suppress an installation space to a required minimum without forming a step on a floor surface below an opening in a folding door type top-railed sliding door device. SOLUTION: A sliding door panel 15 and a folding door body 20 are connected in series by a connecting means so that stile faces face each other while holding a clearance for allowing the movement of only the sliding door panel 15 in response to the initial opening operation of the door A, and suspended slidably engaged with upper and lower parallel guide rails 11, 12 fixed to the upper part of the opening S, through travel guides 23, 40. Folding panels 18, 19 are connected in a foldable manner through a gear hinge 30. The folding door panel 18 is rotatably connected to the travel guide of a folding door body using a pivot 35 as a fulcrum, and the folding door panel 19 is rotatably connected to a wall body W using a support shaft 45 as a fulcrum. The folding door body is provided with a pressure receiving part 42 pressed by the sliding door panel, interlocked with the initial opening operation of the door, in an eccentric position drawn to the opposite side to the position of the gear hinge with respect to the pivot.
