PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deck material fixing device capable of easily loading a holding material and carrying out the fixing work of deck materials to a floor joist even if an operator is not skilled. SOLUTION: The deck materials 2 are mounted on the floor joist 1, the holding material is constructed between grooves formed on opposing surfaces of the neighboring deck materials, and in the device fixing the deck materials on the floor joist by passing a screw 5 through the holding material from between the neighboring deck materials to be screwed thereto, (a) a projection is formed on the floor joist, (b) the holding material is used for a saddle attached holding material formed by temporarily being screwed to an elastic saddle member saddled on the projection of the floor joist through which the screw passes the holding member, and (c) the holding member or the saddle member has a size setting a predetermined interval between both deck materials abutted on two deck materials approaching both ends thereof to each other.
