PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein unevenness of charge is generated by paper chips adhered onto a feeding belt and electrostatic adsorption of paper sheets becomes instable to lower the quality of image. SOLUTION: The feeding belt 21 for feeding the paper sheets 12 is stretched between a feeding roller 27 and a tension roller 28, and an elastic member 61 for eliminating the paper chips adhered to a surface of the feeding belt 21 is arranged at a position in the downstream of a paper sheet separating part and in the upstream of a charge roller 26 by pushing a tip thereof to the feeding belt 21 in pressure-contact so that an angleθformed with the feeding belt 21 in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the feeding belt 21 becomes an acute angle.
