PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheet from being hung down between vacuum suction wheels arranged in line and to prevent deformation of wave-form from being developed in a width direction of the sheet in a paper discharge device of a sheet printing machine. SOLUTION: At least one air nozzle for blowing air from a lower surface side of the sheet toward a downstream side of a traveling direction of the sheet is provided between a plurality of vacuum suction wheels provided in parallel in a paper width direction of the traveling sheet. Thereby, since the blown air pushes up the sheet, the deformation that the sheet is hung down between the vacuum suction wheels can be prevented and generation of wrinkles and flaw can be prevented.
