PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bag body the height of whose strong retainable space for cell formation is assured. SOLUTION: This relates to a packaging method for a culture media 2 where the media 2 for bearing bacteria is introduced in a square tubular bag body 1 whose top end is open and bottom end is closed, and the top end of the bag body 1 is closed after an inoculation to this media 2. The top end of the bag body 1 is extended along both end sides of the side faces 13, 14 of the media 2 to be in a straight line running along two parallel side faces 13, 14 selected out of the four side faces 11-14 of the body 1.
