PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent projection of a power unit to the inside of the vehicle compartment with a simple means without requiring a large-scale device or large design change. SOLUTION: A guard member 40 integrally having a cylindrical part 50 of a partially cylindrical shape bending with a curvature radius greater than that of a ridge line section 56 of a corner 36 is integrally disposed in the corner 36, and the cylindrical part 50 is butted on a body member at an offset collision time of the vehicle. Thus, interlocking to the body member is reduced, and the corner 36 is laterally slid along the body member, so that the power unit is rotated to suppress projection of it into the vehicle compartment.
