PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated film for an outer covering which is used for a battery, a capacitor and the like and shows heat-sealing characteristics, gas barrier properties and heat resistance. SOLUTION: This laminated film has a laminate structured of a metal foil and a film-like resin in a laminar fashion with at least one surface of the laminate made of a thermoplastic resin crosslinked so that the gel fraction is 5 to 80%. The crosslinking reaction is preferably performed by using ionizing radiation and the surface of the thermoplastic resin is more preferably treated beforehand. It is further recommended that the thermoplastic resin to be used be selected from among polyolefins which can be easily crosslinked by ionizing radiation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
