PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow united molded object capable of being simply manufactured without requiring skill, excellent in impact resistance, tough to withstand a long-term use, having good appearance, enhanced in design properties and having right-hand and left-hand parting lines which are asymmetric. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the hollow united type molded object is characterised in constitution by having a process for forming a connection/fitting part 17 having a shape the same as the curved surface of the peripheral end edge part of an other half member 16 to the peripheral end edge part of one half member 11 and bringing the end edge part of the first half member 11 into contact with the connection/fitting part 17 to join the same to the connection/fitting part 17 by a joining means.
