PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen absorptive packaging material capable of being subjected to retort treatment or microwave heating and markedly prevented from lowering in oxygen barrier properties. SOLUTION: This oxygen absorptive packaging material comprises a laminate which is constituted of a heat sealable thermoplastic resin inner layer 2, an oxygen absorbent-compounded thermoplastic resin layer 3, a thermoplastic resin cushioning layer 4, an impact-resistant thermoplastic resin layer 5 and a heat-resistant thermoplastic resin outer layer 6 all of which are provided in this order from the inner surface of the packaging material to the outer surface thereof and characterized in that an oxygen barrier layer 7 having an oxygen barrier coating thin film is provided to at least one of the inner or outer surface of the impact-resistant thermoplastic resin layer 5 and the outer surface of the heat-resistant thermoplastic resin outer layer 6.
