METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRINTED MATTER AND PROTECTING LAYER TRANSFER RIBBON USED FOR THIS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printed matter which appears presentable and is difficult to falsify without the possibilities such as the adhesion of printed matter to a back-up member and burr generation by using a protecting layer transfer ribbon which can easily heat-transfer the protecting layer regardless of the quality of a material to which the layer is transferred.

SOLUTION: This method is to form a transfer preventing resin layer which shows its affinity with the material to which the protecting layer is transferred and the back-up member is more feeble than its affinity with a layer for forming the protecting layer, in a non-image region before a heat-transfer process following the formation of an image on the layer for forming the protecting layer.
