<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply container provided with a means for wrongly replenishing toner different in specifications to a toner supply container and preventing the toner from being used, by stopping toner supply from the toner supply container, when the toner supply container supplies a prescribed amount of the toner to a developing device, nearing the end of service life. <P>SOLUTION: The toner supply container mounted on the developing device and rotating a toner supply roller 12 of a toner supply mechanism 11 for supplying a prescribed amount of the filled toner to the development device, is provided with a toner supply roller rotation stopping means for stopping the rotation of the toner supply roller 12 which rotates with the drive force transmitted from a drive part, when substantially the prescribed amount of the toner is supplied to the developing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
