<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the necessity of repeated repairing and/or replacement by minimizing the danger that the hole of a catheter is blocked up or eliminating the danger thereof. <P>SOLUTION: An embedded fluid management device 10 has a catheter 12, and the catheter has a long base part 14, a flexible tip part 16 and a passage in which a fluid flows. The tip part has a coil-like part forming at least a spiral turn. The tip part of the catheter has at least one hole for allowing a fluid to flow through the passage of the catheter, and the hole is disposed in the spiral inside part, whereby the hole can be protected from being blocked up with tissue growing in the inside and periphery of the catheter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
