<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data structure with high versatility, with transmissivity components attached thereto. <P>SOLUTION: This image data structure is a structure for image data having three-channel image components and one-channel transmissivity components and has an image area where the three-channel image components are recorded in a compression format and a transmissivity area with the same data structure as that of the image area, where transmissivity components in the same compression format as that of the image components and two-channel pseudo components are recorded. By recording the transmissivity components and the two-channel pseudo components in the same compression format as that of the image components with the same data structure as that of the image area, the image components and the transmissivity components can be elongated in the same processing method.
