METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTING INK COMPOSITION HAVING HIGH CONCENTRATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a printing ink having excellent printing capacity by decreasing the residual salt content of the ink while improving the production efficiency and suppressing the production cost by decreasing the steps for the production of the printing ink.

SOLUTION: The method for the production of a printing ink contains (1) a step to form a granular flashed material by flashing a water slurry of a pigment containing impurities formed by pigment synthesis or pigmentation together with a varnish for printing ink and (2) a step to knead the granular flashed material with washing water under shearing force to remove the impurities by the washing water. The step (1) is carried out by premixing the water slurry of the pigment and the varnish for printing ink and treating the premixture by a closed high-speed dispersing machine.
