PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic operation device for a switching device capable of always providing stable breaking performance in a high-speed continuous operation. SOLUTION: In making and breaking pressure accumulating devices 13 and 14, making and breaking pressure accumulating pistons 18 and 22 are disposed, making and breaking pressure accumulating springs 19 and 23 for urging the pistons 18 and 22 in pressure accumulating directions are disposed, the springs 19 and 23 are made to provide force corresponding to pressure receiving force applied to the pistons 18 and 22 from making and breaking pressure accumulating chambers 20 and 24 in a normal state, and the accumulating device 13 and the accumulating device 14 are composed independently of each other as making use and breaking use.
