PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back pressing treatment appliance allowing a user to use the appliance without lying and capable of easing and treating the stiffness or pain on the waist and back of the user. SOLUTION: The appliance comprises a body whose back surface is curved convexly, projection members disposed on the front side of the body separately to upward/downward and left/right respectively, and a presser part with a round end surface formed integrally or separately at the top of each projection member. The projection member on the lower side is made to project longer than the projection member on the upper side. The appliance is inserted between the waist part or back of the body of the user sitting on a chair and the backrest of the chair to press the waist part or the back of the user's body with the presser parts. A sphere, fixed or turnably attached to the top of each projection member in such a way that a part of the sphere is exposed, can be used by the presser part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
