PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide prediction control technology of a disk device in which control not predicted by software does not affect the predicted control and controls the setting and acquisition of data to a driver IC from software by hardware. SOLUTION: This prediction control system of the hard disk device is provided with the function to hold a plurality of pairs of control data and time for setting the predicted control data at an arbitrary time to the driver IC 14 and the function for acquiring the data by setting the control data at the unpredicted current time to the driver IC 14. The setting state to the driver IC 14 is monitored by the hardware 12, and when no setting of the predicted control data is present, the setting and acquisition of the control data at the unpredicted current time are executed, and when the setting of the coincident control data is present at the predicted time, they are postponed till the setting is completed, and upon completion of the setting, the setting of the control data and the acquisition of the data at the unpredicted current time are entirely executed only by the hardware 12.
