<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a rotating adsorption machine which is sufficiently durable even to high temperatures beyond 200°C. <P>SOLUTION: Rotor 1 is provided with: a plurality of arc sectors 2 which are formed of gas adsorption elements 4 of a honeycomb structure having a number of small through-holes, and are respectively disposed in a cylindrical rim 7 with their sections parted into the arc shape by spokes 3 radiating in all directions, where the sectors 2, spokes 3, and the rim 7 are respectively integrated together through caulking materials 8 such as a silicone between the joint faces of the sectors 2 with the spokes 3 and the rim 7; and heat shielding seats 10 placed on the axial direction end faces of the spokes and formed of an incombustible plate material covering the joint sections of the above two arc sectors being in contact with the end faces and both sides of the end faces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
