PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing cooling for some rooms and heating for the others corresponding to the indoor environment of the respective rooms. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger means for defrosting which is provided on one side of an outdoor heat exchanger of a multiple air conditioner capable of cooling and heating, and in which one end is connected with piping for passing refrigerant of high-pressure gaseous phase discharged from the compressor and the other end is connected with piping for passing high-pressure liquid phase connected with one end of the outdoor heat exchanger of the multiple air conditioner.
