PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a drying time for dried matter by uniformly drying the dried matter. SOLUTION: A tray 12 for a dryer comprising both wall parts 13 and 13, baffle plates 11 connecting the wall parts 13 and 13 to each other, and a flange 14 fitted to the wall parts 13 is fixed to a storage shelf F in a drying chamber 7 through the flange. A grid 5 is placed on the tray 12, and the dried matter M is placed on the grid 5. The plurality of baffle plates 11 struck by the air flow of dry air are installed above a bottom plate 12 at specified intervals in the flow direction of the air flow and aslant upward from the windward side to the lee side of air to smoothly guide the air flow upward to the rear face of the dried matter M. Since the air striking the rear face of the dried matter M through the grid 5 by the provision of the baffle plates 11, the drying efficiency of the dried matter M is increased. Also, the heights of the lower ends of the baffle plates 11 are lowered in order from the windward side of the air to the lee side of the air of the air flow so that the air flow surely strikes also the baffle plates on the lee side of the air so as to more increase the drying efficiency.
