PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed waste charging reducing furnace capable of inhibiting the diffusion of gas and dust diffused together with a gas in a charging device for treating domestic waste and industrial waste, to the atmospheric air as a damper. SOLUTION: In the waste reducing melting furnace, this sealed waste charging reducing furnace has a plurality of stages of loading devices mounted at a lower part of a charging port for charging the waste, the damper is mounted on a hopper chamber partitioning the loading device and the furnace, an inactive gas is blown into the hopper chamber to block the atmospheric gas and the furnace thermal decomposition gas. This sealed waste charging reducing furnace controls the pressure between the atmospheric air and the hopper chamber, or in the hopper chamber by the damper. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
