PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily producible heat insulated container for storing a beverage container which is satisfactorily provided with a heat insulation keeping or a cold insulation characteristic and which makes it possible to open or close a PET bottle cap easily. SOLUTION: In structuring this heat insulated container for storing a beverage container, a top opening 14 through which the cap 20 of the beverage container (PET bottle 19) is inserted is formed on one end of a heat insulated container main body 13 which is provided with an insulating layer between a metal inner tube 11 and an outer tube 12, a bottom opening 16 through which the container is inserted is formed on the other end, and a ring member 17 provided covering the edge of the bottom opening is provided with a bottom member 18 able to open and close the bottom opening and to hold the bottom of the beverage container. The edge of the top opening of the container is covered with a heat insulating member 15 provided with an annular contact part 28 which is inserted in the top opening for the forward end of the same to abut on the shoulder part of the container.
