<p>It is possible to effectively utilize surplus resources of a plurality of computers. For this, a topology management server device (103) correlates an identifier identifying a database object managed by a database management device with an identifier identifying the database management device. When a plurality of computers (104, 105, ..., 106) transmit a cache request including an identifier identifying a database object to the topology management server device (103) so as to cache the database object, the topology management server device (103) transfers the cache request to the database management device so that the database object is transmitted to ac computer and cached there.
