<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission apparatus and a digital camera capable of easily suppressing a communication charge of digital image data within a prescribed upper limit. <P>SOLUTION: The image transmission apparatus, for transmitting digital image data by utilizing a communication network for collecting a communication charge in response to a transmitted data amount, includes: a selection means for selecting the digital image data (S110); a communication charge notice means for informing a user (S115) about an estimated communication charge of the digital image data selected by the selection means before its transmission on the basis of communication information to obtain the communication charge in response to the data amount; and a transmission means for transmitting the digital image data selected by the selection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
