PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously measure the performance of software components, and to predict the performance of a whole system by combining the already measured performance of the software components. SOLUTION: A component performance measuring means 20 measures the system resource usage of respective software components, and stores the measurement results in a performance database 10. A transaction performance prediction means 30 predicts the system resource usage of transaction from the system resource usage of the respective software components stored in the performance database 10. A system performance prediction means 40 predicts the system resource usage of the whole system by inputting the system resource usage of transaction to a system performance prediction model.
