PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker whose total height is lowered for the purpose of downsizing, with excellent frequency and input withstanding characteristics wherein no defect such as production of abnormal sound at the reception of a high level input takes place, about the speaker being a small diameter speaker and a micro speaker provided with a dome diaphragm. SOLUTION: The speaker is provided with: the dome diaphragm; a voice coil bobbin; a damper; and a magnetic circuit, wherein the dome diaphragm includes a first fixing part extended from an outer circumferential edge of a dome part along a cylinder inner face of the voice coil bobbin, and a second fixing part extended from an outer circumferential edge of the first fixing part nearly at a right angle, and the damper is placed inside a space specified by the voice coil bobbin, the inner circumferential edge of the damper is fixed to the magnetic circuit, and the outer circumferential edge of the damper is joined with the outer circumferential edge of the dome part and the cylinder inner face of the voice coil bobbin.
