摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool optical components without having effect on an optical pass when direct abutting with the whole surface of the optical components is performed. <P>SOLUTION: In a Peltier module 10, an upper substrate 11a and a lower substrate 11b are constituted of transparent member like sapphire glass. Thermoelectric transducer elements 12a, 12b are arranged only in an outer peripheral part in a region forming a rectangle as a whole along the substrates 11a, 11b. The central part (unarrangement region 15 of thermoelectric transducer element) is a part where the element is not arranged. In the Peltier module 10 of this configuration, the transparent regions corresponding to the unarrangement regions 15 and the transparent regions corresponding to the unarrangement regions 15 in the upper and lower substrates 11a, 11b function as optical pass windows.
