NEUTRON MEASURING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state neutron sensor array for covering the whole range of a neutron flux generated from a nuclear reactor or the like. SOLUTION: A detector comprises two or more sensor arrays having different sensitivities respectively. When detecting a prescribed count rate, a single electronic device row switches the arrays and changes automatically the detector sensitivity. The sensitivity is changed by changing the thickness or the constitution of a conversion layer for emitting charged particles to an active region on the semiconductor surface.
