MUD GUARD DEVICE OF CRAWLER VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mud guard device of a crawler vehicle for preventing sticking or accumulating of earth and sand on the car body side periphery of an idler or a sprocket. SOLUTION: A front mud guard member 26 or a back mud guard member 27 of which a forward end side projects in the tangential direction of the idler 4 or sprocket 6 and a forward end portion is close to the inner surface of a track block 7c constituting a crawler 7 is integrally disposed in the upper part of at least one of a front end plate 3f disposed between an idler bracket 3d for supporting the idler 4 and a side frame 3b and a back end plate disposed between a motor bracket 3e for supporting the sprocket 6 and the side frame 3b. The earth and sand stuck to the crawler 7 during running or working are scratched by the front mud guard member 26 or the back mud guard member 27 and do not accumulate around the car body side of the idler 4 or sprocket 6, so that cleaning after the completion of the working can be easily performed in a short time.
