PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine dispensing apparatus which dispenses with a readjustment of the detecting position relation between a tablet and a discriminating section to detect a position of the tablet even when a driving position between the tablet and a driving means to drive the tablet slips off, and a medicine dispensing and packaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The medicine dispensing apparatus A1 and the medicine dispensing and packaging apparatus A include a pill dispensing mechanism 150 to successively releases pill valves 141 of two or more pill boxes 142 by moving a pill tablet 140 in one direction X1 of the first horizontal direction X, a powder dispensing mechanism 250 to successively releases powder valves 241 of two or more powder boxes 242 by moving a powder tablet 240 in the direction X1, a bracket 300 to hold the tablets 140 and 240, two or more primary discrimination sections 350 arranged in the bracket 300 in the direction along the horizontal direction X with a prescribed discrimination pitch P3 and a primary detection device 610 to detect the discrimination sections 350, wherein the bracket 300 is moved in the direction X1 so that the tablets 140 and 240 are unitedly moved.
