PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swinging and sorting apparatus in a threshing machine in which sorting performance is improved by simultaneously controlling intervals between and tilting angle of fins of a chaff sieve. SOLUTION: Pins 65 connected to a pantograph mechanism 62 and supporting the fins 66 are moved along a slotted hole 57 of a guide plate 56 and pins 67 supported by other ends of the fins 66 are moved along a slotted hole 59 of the guide plate 56 by expanding or contracting the pantograph mechanism 62 for an interval-adjusting means 61. Since intervals between pins 65 are changed by expansion or contract of the pantograph mechanism 62, intervals between fins 66 are also changed according to those of the pins 65. Since these slotted holes 57 and 59 are formed so that intervals in rear direction becomes wider, compared with intervals in front direction, the fins 66 are changed so that a tilting angleθ2 in backward direction becomes larger than a tilting angleθ1 in forward direction, as the fins 66 are moved in backward direction.
