The systems, methods, and computer-readable media disclosed herein can be used to charge the cost of shipment of a package to an appropriate cost center and sub-category thereof through the use of a procurement card. Upon receiving an invoice from a procurement card provider, the sender of a package has all data required to pay for the cost of shipment from an appropriate cost center due to a series of data relationships stored by a carrier computer system, the procurement card provider, and/or possibly third party data processors participating in a shipment transaction.
