The invention relates to a wall lining or floor covering consisting of a web-type material. Known such linings or coverings are relatively rigid and thick and cannot be manufactured in a cylindrical manner, or consist of a wallpaper-type material which does not ensure protection against humidity and mechanical separation. The aim of the invention is to improve one such wall lining or floor covering in such a way that protection against humidity and mechanical separation is provided between the base surface and the surface lining. To this end, two layers of a polyester nonwoven are used, the surfaces of the two layers adhering to each other by means of a water-impermeable adhesive layer. |
