The invention concerns a multimedia messaging service which consists in transmitting a message through a radio communication network, said MMS message comprising a header containing parameters concerning said message transport and content. The invention is characterized in that the header comprises a parameter whereof the value corresponds to a date, a non null value of said parameter being associated with the indication in said message of a request for reply for said date.
