<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cornea surgery apparatus which enables more precise laser irradiation on a desired position on the cornea. <P>SOLUTION: The cornea surgery apparatus is equipped with a laser irradiation optical system for emitting a laser for a treatment to the cornea of the eye of a patient and emits the laser to the desired position on the cornea. The cornea surgery apparatus is equipped with a moving means for moving the position to be irradiated by the laser irradiation optical system, an imaging means for imaging the anterior ocular segment of the eye of the patient, a characteristic point detecting means for detecting characteristic points in the anterior ocular segment images by processing the image taken by the imaging means, a duction detecting means for detecting a duction state of the eye of the patient, based on position information of the detected characteristic points and position information of the characteristic points when the eye of the patient is placed in a reference state, and a control means for controlling the moving means based on results detected by the duction detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
