<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair design system with simple structure for perfectly designing hair style as a customer desires and perfectly reproducing the hair style. <P>SOLUTION: The hair design system comprises an image processing device 1, an input-output device 2, a graphic system 3, a display unit 4, a storage 5 for information of head shape development, and a storage for information of hair design 6. While looking at the display unit 4, a hairdresser or the customer designs the hair style as the customer desires. Information of hair style are divided into a plurality of parts, and each part is coded with numerals and symbols, respectively, to be stored into the storage 5. When the hairdresser does actual hairdressing, the hairdresser does a haircut and a perm according to the information of head shape development displayed on the display unit 4.
