PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet print head having a corrosion resistant filter section in which a small hole for passing ink is formed accurately, and also to provide an ink jet recorder. SOLUTION: In the ink jet print head, trench-like or rectangular recesses are formed by etching the surface or rear surface of a thin stainless steel plate and a through hole is formed at a part where these shapes overlap thus constituting a filter section. Opening rate of the through hole is set to satisfy a relation that the filter is less in opening rate than the through hole spaced at a regular interval from the filter section, thus enhancing etching accuracy at the filter section. Furthermore, the opening rate is set appropriately by adjusting the pitch of the trenches or the interval of the rectangles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
