PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture recording information edition device which simply and efficiently edits the start part and end part of moving picture recording information. SOLUTION: When a fast forward key or a fast return key is continuously depressed for prescribed time in an edition mode, which one of the first half part and a latter half part of a video file is being reproduced is checked and reproduction is controlled so that a reproducing position is jumped to the start part or end part of the video file. Namely, reproduction control is performed on the end part when the key is depressed in the first half part, or reproduction control is performed on the start part when the key is depressed in the latter half part, so that edition processing is quickly performed only by one key operation.
