PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film which excels in the resistance to retorting treatment and the like, can be stably coated on the surface of a metal plate even when subject to the heat history in the can manufacturing process and the like, has the film strength to come to a good level of lamination controllability and handling properties, simultaneously excels in barrier properties and corrosion resistance as well, and is suitably used as a material for forming a three-piece can bottom closure. SOLUTION: The transparent film for coating the outer surface of the bottom closure of a three-piece can has an inner haze of≤5% in the film portion after remelting by the heat of not lower than the melting point of the film present in the state laminated on a metal substrate, then quenching, and retorting treatment.
