PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of cracks in a core for forming an intake port, caused by thermal expansion of a partition board in its longitudinal direction (an axial direction of the intake port) when the partition board partitioning the intake port 3 into upper and lower split intake ports 3a, 3b is casted in a cylinder head 1. SOLUTION: The partition board is split in the axial direction of the intake port into two partition boards, that is, a upstream partition board 7 and downstream partition board 8, so as to form a clearance C between the split parts.
