PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print images of a high image quality to a printing medium by preventing the ink impact precision from decreasing even when only a part of a plurality of printing media arrangeable on a support is arranged on the support. SOLUTION: An air passage member 14 with two air passages 38a and 38b formed is arranged between a printing stand 13 with many suction holes 31 formed, and two suction fans 15A and 15B. The two suction fans 15A and 15B, and the two air passages 38a and 38b correspond to transfer paths for papers 2 and 3, respectively. In the case where printing is carried out to only the paper sheet 2 among the papers sheets 2 and 3, a controller drives only the suction fan 15A corresponding to the transfer path for the paper sheet 2 which is to be printed, without driving the suction fan 15B corresponding to the transfer path for the paper sheet 3 which is not to be printed.
