PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a program information providing system by simple operation along a user's taste by improving a retrieval method of the information on programs which is enlarged accompanying with multi-channelization of broadcast. SOLUTION: As a program interlocking-type data broadcast, key words such as names of performers and staff in an auditing program are transmitted from a broadcasting station 1. The key words being broadcast which have been received by a receiver 2 are selected and registered in a program information retrieval server 3.
