<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording material, which is excellent in the water resistance of an image, can reduce printing torque at printing, suppress the development of density nonuniformity in grey level images reflection nonuniformity or the like due to the nonuniform feeding at their continuous printing, and consequently stably form a uniform and high quality image. <P>SOLUTION: This thermosensitive recording material is formed by providing a thermosensitive recording layer and a protective layer in the order named on a support under the condition that the protective layer contains a polyoxyalkylene derivative and a water-soluble or oil-soluble group IV transition element compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
