<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture under a 24-hour repeating timer control without requiring an EEPROM. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture controls a time zone for setting a lamp 1 in a specific lighting mode (e.g. a midnight mode) by a 24-hour timer (time, minute and second timer) to detect a commercial AC power source 2 and operate during energization of the AC power source 2, and by an RTC timer (date, time, minute and second timer) by a real time clock 4 to always operate by a backup power source 3 with a battery etc. during failure of the AC power source 2. When the power failure of the AC power source 2 is detected, the RTC timer is reset, and also the RTC timer is begun to be counted after a count value of the 24-hour timer is written into 'time, minute and second' data of the RTC timer, and when the power recovery of the AC power source 2 is detected, the 24-hour timer is reset, and also the 24-hour timer is begun to be counted after the previous 'time, minute and second' data of the RTC timer is written into the 24-hour timer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
