PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output branched type transmission device having a plurality of gear ratio regions adjustable steplessly in which a swinging region changeover is avoided. SOLUTION: At least either of the target engine speed depending upon the position of an accelerator pedal 56 and the transmission device target gear ratio corresponding to the target engine speed and the vehicle speed is decided and set, and in case the difference between the transmission device gear ratio actual value and the region changeover gear ratio becomes below the limit value, the temporal change of the accelerator pedal position and/or the temporal change of the target engine speed used to decide the target engine speed or the target gear ratio is/are reduced.
