FINISHER FOR SLIDE FASTENER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile finisher for the slide fasteners capable of automatically passing a slider only by a specified operation using a single unit without requiring the preparation of any specialized device nor extra time for a substantial modification of fastener chains and the sliders of various available types. SOLUTION: The finisher has left and right grippers (110 and 110) which grip the left and right tip parts of the slide faster chain (2) and transfers it (2) longitudinally (in the direction of the X axis) while being opened or closed in the direction of the Y axis orthogonal to the direction of the X axis based on the command from an operation control means (140). It is also provided with electric motors (103 and 103; 117 and 117) which control to drive the grippers (110 and 110) in the X-Y axis direction based on the command from a numerical control part (140a) of the operation control means (140) in the X-Y axis direction of the left and right grippers (110 and 110).
