PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverization method for manufacturing particulates of an electrostatic charge controlling agent of a smaller grain size, a pulverization method of the electrostatic charge controlling agent for manufacturing the particulates of the electrostatic charge controlling agent having characteristics that the particulates are uniformly dispersed into the particle surface of toner without reflocculation after pulverization and further a method for manufacturing the electrostatic charge image developing toner using the pulverization method. SOLUTION: The method for pulverizing the electrostatic charge controlling agent for toner comprises pulverizing the electrostatic charge controlling agent by a mechanical pulverizing machine in the presence of the inorganic particulates of 20 to 200 m2/g in BET specific surface area.
