PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system which can surely prevent the mixed output of voice signals from an external source (output source group) which composed of a plurality of sound sources (output sources) sharing a single transmission path. SOLUTION: A device body 11 has; a mode selection section 41 which selects an arbitrary sound source within an external source 12 which is composed of a plurality of sound sources sharing the single transmission path and an internal source 31 which is composed of sound sources having transmission paths individually; a mode setting section 42 which performs ON setting of a sound source so as to transmit a voice signal from a selected sound source to the transmission path which corresponds to the selected sound source. It has; a source classification memory 38B which stores and manages the source classification for each sound source; a source classification determination section 43 which determines whether or not the source classification of the sound source under setting by the mode setting section is an external source, and a control section 48 which controls the mode selection section to forbid the selection of a sound source in the external source when the source classification is determined as an external source.
